Compliance Without the Theater
Most companies approach compliance like a performance. Policies get written. Evidence gets staged. Audits become events.
That approach fails under scale.
Real compliance should be an output of operational design. If your change management works, evidence exists. If your access control is real, it logs itself. If your backups are tested, there’s proof.
The goal isn’t to “pass SOC 2.” The goal is to build systems that make passing inevitable.
Design for evidence
Every operational workflow should naturally generate traceable output. If it doesn’t, that’s not a documentation problem — that’s a systems problem.
Maturity is architecture.
